• Design and implementation of system architecture,
• SA Collaboration with developers for new application launches and system optimization
• DBA Collaboration with System Administrators for tasks such as hardware platform migrations
• Capacity planning
• 7x24 monitoring and review of production servers including alert logs, scheduled job status of application and server performance parameters
• Operating system upgrades and patches, as required.
• Operating system structure defragmentation, mount point reorganization, as required.
• Ad-hoc troubleshooting, as required,
• Performance tuning, as required
• Maintenance of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintenance of disaster recovery document

• System networking infrastructure maintenance.
• Create Firewall Rule Ticket Requests to client’s firewall provider
• Troubleshoot Firewall Rule Activity with Client’s/your firewall provider
• Operating system installation, configuration and set-up, as required. (Linux and Windows)
• Other middleware installation, configuration and set-up, as required.
• Preventive  maintenance
• Conference calls and/or online meetings with Client/you, as required
• Ongoing mentoring of Client/your staff.

Our team of DBA’s will perform following ongoing activities for design, maintenance, optimization, backup, up gradation and monitoring of Databases.

• Logical and physical database design
• Design and implementation of data architecture
• DBA Collaboration with developers for new application launches and Database optimization.
• 7x24 monitoring and review of Production Database Application Server Components including alert logs, scheduled job status and wide variety of application server performance parameters
• 7x24 monitoring and review of Production Databases including backup logs, alert logs, scheduled job status, and a wide variety of database performance parameters
• Database upgrades and patches, as required.
• Database defragmentation, database/tablespace reorganization, as required
• Our team of SA’s & DBA’s will perform all above activities via secure remote connections, via SSH to Linux Servers & RDP to windows servers.
• Migration of accounts & databases with full image of previous server settings will be done via SSH & Remote desktop connections from one host to another.

DBA specific activities:

• Database networking infrastructure maintenance.
• Database Server installation, configuration and set-up, as required. (SQL Server and Oracle)
• Preventive maintenance.
• Conference calls and/or online meetings with UNDP, as required,
• Ongoing mentoring of UNDP staff,
